Double Girder Gantry Crane Main Beam Static Load Test Method for Strength and Stiffness
1) Run the trolley to the end of the crane beam track, hang the wire hammer at the middle of the main girder, record the distance between wire and the beam or set the ruler near the hammer and record the reading.
2) Run the trolley to the middle of the main beam. In the order of lifting 75%, 100% and 125% of the rated weight, when the load lift from the ground about 100 mm, keep for 10 minutes, and then unload the load, check whether there is permanent deformation, and finally park the trolley at the middle of the main beam, lifting 100% rated load, measuring the deflection of the two main beams, should not be greater than (1/700) S.
3) When unloading the load, the deflection of the main beam should be restored, there must be no permanent deformation, run the trolley to the end of main beam to detect the main girders on the arch, should not be less than (0.7 / 1000) S, S for the gantry crane span.
4) If the gantry crane is equiped with two hooks, The rated static load test of the secondary hook is the same as main hook, but it is not necessary to record the deflection of the main beam.
